>My other half Chris and I are going to the convention in Atlanta. On Wednesday May 30, my dog is having her toe amputated, as she has a bad infection that has spread deeply into the bone. Unfortunately, we did not know until this week that we were definitely going, so we did not get to make reservations at the Mariott before they sold out. My dog can fully begin working around the 21 of June, but the vet really wants her to take it easy as much as possible for the first month or so. So, if possible, I am trying to prevent unnecessary walking for her, as her paw will be bandaged up for quite some time and she finds it very awkward to walk with the bandage on, and I'm sure the surgery won't make it any easier. I realize the Sharidan is only a couple blocks away, but if possible, I would like to prevent that walk for her back-and-forth. I need to bring her to convention with me because she needs her bandages changed every few days. I prefer not to leave her with family or friends because everyone tries to feed her table scraps. So I find it crucial to take her with me. I am just writing to ask, if anyone has extra rooms they have held that they find they don't need, or if anyone plans on cancelling your reservation, can you please let me know so I can possibly get that particular room? Please e-mail me at

>If we have to stay at the Sharidan, then we have to do that, but I would prefer for her not to go through that if she doesn't have to.
