[nfb-talk] Self Defense Classes at Convention

Hi all,

I have upon occasion worn the big puffy rubber suit for a women's 
self-defense class.  I have never witnessed a class nor heard of a 
well-regarded corriculum which claimed to teach actual self-defense in 
one session.

Much can be lectured about in one day about safety and awareness and how 
to change habits and procedures to maximize safety and personal 
security.  I am very concerned about any class which may claim to 
present physical technique. 

I for one would prefer to see a syllabus of this course and the CV of 
the trainer before attending a class, especially given the large 
suggested class size.
