This report with it's lack of knowledge of the steps taken by NLS and
the lack of accessibility of the commercial so-called options is exactly
why we are in this fight.

Good to see this report on the list. It appears to be well intentioned
but
I'm a bit concerned it may have a negative effect on our efforts,
perhaps at
a minimum delaying the transition process.
I have a couple of side questions that have been bothering me, though.
This report refers to the General Accounting Office, sometimes referred
to
as the GAO. In recent years I've heard of the Government Accountability
Office and I'm not sure if they are one and the same thing or are
different
offices which are sometimes referred to interchangeably with each other
and
the term GAO.
It even seems that certain news outlets, most notably Fox in my opinion,
use
the terminology in certain ways to convey a particular editorial spin.
Can someone clear up the history of what's going on with these terms?
