A few years ago, I attempted to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. To
make a long story short, they refused to provide accommodations. Rather
than wait for the resolution of a lengthy lawsuit, I decided to continue on
with my education somewhere else. However, I did not entirely let them off
the hook. I filed a complaint against them with the Davenport Civil Rights
Commission. One of the issues that the Davenport CRC is asking me to
address is the assertion by Palmer that a sighted assistant would
significantly alter essential components of the program by interfering with
my decision making process. Anyway, I am looking for help in answering this
question. I would appreciate receiving any pertinent information or
comments on this topic. I believe that their main concern was with x-rays,
but also with ear, eye, nose and throat exams.

Thanks in advance.

Aaron
