[nfb-talk] Resolutions

In reference to this matter. From what I have learned from others since I am new to NFB that the reason why we don't go to as many states as they used to is because of the hotel fares. I understand that we cannot have one here in NY because of these issues. Even the rates for hotel for our state convention is higher than the convention in atlanta. I think the NFB should have some kind of contract with Marriott Corporation since they already know that we spend money and tip some of us nicely, and I am neat and clean especially with a dog. My own observations so that way we can go to any location that Marriott offers and get either same or similar low rates as the other hotels.

Dar it has nothing to do with us being blind, it has to do with the all mighty dollar, the highest bidder gets the goods.

Actually, as I understand it, one of the big concerns is whether we can
continue to get our very very low rates for rooms.
If prices go up substantially will members not be able to attend convention?

  Well now,
If we are paying the prices the hotel is asking for, then they have no rite
to ask us to make the convention shorter.
This is planned in a year in advance what is the problem here.
Don't care for this at all.
