[nfb-talk] Mobility training

RJ, I would tell her to get in touch with the NFB of Missouri and ask for
their assistance in getting either the St. Louis Society, or someone else,
to give her mobility training. At this point, though, I'd be apprehensive
about allowing the instructor from the Society to teach me. Since that
person doesn't believe she can travel near a highway, then I have my doubts
about the quality of the over-all training. They may leave out other
instruction, if they don't believe she, or any blind person can do it.

Subject: [nfb-talk] Mobility training

My friend lives in Farmington Mossoueri, and she told me that it was the St.
Louis Society for the Blind, which told her that they couldn't provide
mobility training, because she lived to close to the highway. I told her
this was wrong, and that she had a right to recieve mobility training. If
any of you could say anything to Lynda, what would you say to her Yours RJ?
