Dar,

it's a pretty simple idea if you think about it.  Each row of the Braille
cell has four possible states.  Neither dot present, one dot present, the
other dot present, or both dots present.  I haven't seen the key chain in
question, but I did have an idea somewhat like it not too long ago.

I know that I have lost speed since I returned to school.  There just is
not much Braille for me to read, aside notes I take with my PK--and the
courses I've been taking this term haven't lent themselves to taking notes
either, so I haven't done as much of that as I would have liked either.

I have taken to sometimes reading and writing stuff in Braille just to
maintain the skills while I am forced to interact in aural and printed
formats for now.
