I agree.  They take for granted that they'll always be there, because they 
always have been.  Since many younger people haven't had to fight for the 
rights they have, they see no need to help keep them or fight for something 
new.

I don't think a lot of people realize that we already have lost some
things that were bitterly sought in the first place.
