Cheryl;
Anyone with vision 20/200 or less is classified as legally blind. I
used to be 20/400 when I was a child. 20/200 is the best of the two.
I will be out for a day and a half so I will try to help on Wednesday.
She may need a doctors notice of proof.
Talk to you later.

Subject: [nfb-talk] looking for someone to help my friend in texas
A friend of mine is in the dallas/ft worth area, and needs some help
with
her local commission of the blind there. she has not be able to get a
case open
with them and she is legally blind, but her state says that she is not
blind
enough to get some help.
She tried calling the local president in Austin, but not sure if the
information on the nfb website is correct and update. and she also left
information
on the mentor website, any help she will be passing along her
information to
me this afternoon. Any help thank you all very much.
