William, you seem to be referring to the sighted public and their
perceptions of the blind as they relate to race and gender. I believe this
study focuses on the perceptions of the blind themselves regarding race. I
take issue with this. I don't believe for a second that racial perceptions
differ amongst the blind. As it is with everything else, the blind represent
a cross section of racial views.
