Hello everyone,

    The Texas Association of Blind Students, under the direction of the 
National Sports and Recreation Division, is making preliminary plans for 
what has become an athletic tradition at the NFB National Convention.  With 
the guidance and partnership of Sports and Rec, we are anticipating a larger 
and highly improved tournament, and right now we are looking for interested 
members, students and non-students alike, to get the event off the ground. 
We cannot possibly move forward without your support.  How far we run with 
the plans will largely depend on your response, so if you are interested in 
competing, or would like to lend a hand in the planning of the games, please 
contact either myself or the Sports and Rec Vice President, Christella 
Garcia, at:

    Remember, the games are not restricted to students.  We are looking 
forward to some good competition.  Get some friends together and get ready 
to represent your state in what will surely be some exciting times in 
Atlanta!
