You may do just as well, or better (actually, better, IMO) by getting  
the 6682 from Cingular. Do it through
http://www.letstalk.com
and you'll get the 6682 for free.

Then, spend the $295 for Talks. Or Mobilespeak.

I say this is a better arrangement because you'll actually get the  
latest version of the screen reader this way. Last I knew, Cingular  
was issuing version 1.41 of Talks, and they're on version 3.0 by now.
