Hello!

If you wish to have a simpler interface and system to read books, do Email, 
go on web pages, the Voice Note would be a very good choice.  I have the 
M-power myself and am quite pleased with it.  I like the braille display 
better on my M-power than what I saw on the Packmate.  Even though the 
M-power or BN family of products uses a closed system, that is, it can't use 
off the shelf applications, the system it uses (keysoft) works very well and 
is simple to use.  I think I'd give the Packmate another year now that 
Jonathan Mosen is on the scene with FS.  Some applications work well from 
what I understand with Packmate and some do not so it depends on what you 
would need to do with your notetaker since they aren't full fledged 
computers.
