Hello, everyone!  I'd written this question into the NAPUB list, but didn't really get any response.  I was hoping to gather more information here.

What ended up happening to the UEBC, United English Braille Code?  I remember back in 2001, it was a really hot and controversial topic at our National convention.  However, I haven't heard anything about it in the last few years.  I have also recently heard that Dr. Nemeth is working on his own code for Braille unification.  Does anyone know more about this?  I'd like to learn more about it, as I have always been grateful to Dr. Nemeth for his wonderful work.
