Hi all,
I've not posted in donkeys years for lots of reasons: I got married, I moved, I moved again, I'm furiously hunting for a job that'll cover expenses, my computer died, my replacement computer died, and I am very happily married, etc!
:-D Hahahaheeheehaw!
During the Dallas convention, I was elected President of the Agriculture & Equestrian Division. In past years, I served as second vice, and as tour organizer.
On one of my dead computers sits our membership roster. To make the best of a bad situation, I'd like to invite anyone and everyone interested in being a member of the division to contact me. If you are a past member or an officer, and haven't heard from me since July, *PLEASE* feel obligated to contact me ASAP.
If you are unfamiliar with the division, we are a diverse group. I have worked on several farms, growing terrestrial and aquatic crops, as well as worked with poultry, sheep, honeybees, and horses. Our members are gardeners and farmers, dog and cat people, pondkeepers and horsepeople,
ranchers and dairyfolk, chocolateeers and coffee roasters, leatherworkers, carpenters
and woodworkers, beekeepers and wine makers, bakers, brewers, and candlestick makers
Again, please feel welcome to join our membership roster. We want to start organizing state affiliates, so step right up.
Thanks,
Fred Chambers
