It's because you have a reply address specified in your Internet headers.
Leave that blank and you won't see those duplicate messages.

I've noticed that when people reply to my posts, they copy both me and the
list on the email, so I get 2 copies.
Is this due to a list setting?
When I reply to a post, doesn't it go to the entire list?
What is the policy?
