Hi!
I can't wait to watch that program.

Congress on signing up ten new subscribers. The young people are lucky to have this info available. When I was younger we did not have Web Braille, Talking Computers or any of the technology we have today. I am not that old even though this message makes me sound ancient. A reader like the KNFB reader would have probably been used in Star
Trek. I have been able to read so many books using Book Share, Recordings for the Blind and The National Library service for the Blind. I can't get enough information. Sometimes it feels like my head will burst. I was actually able to download music right off NLS using Web Braille.
Everyone have fun and learn new as much as you want. It's yours for the taking.

LOL.
Hope

.Dear Mary Ellen Sanchez.
.,
.
.Welcome to the list.
.Don't worry, you are among friends and you can just listen or join us in the
.discussions or even ask a question.
.I just signed up 10 more people for NFB NEWSLINE last week after doing a
.demo for them on my cell phone.
.People just didn't know it existed or thought it would be too complicated to
.use and were surprised just how easy it was to access and use.
.I just taped a TV show for the Public Broadcast System called "Cookin
.Without Lookin."
.I did a segment on the show about NFB NEWSLINE that will be on air this
.Fall.
.The show is a cooking show with 3 Blind host who demo how the Blind cook and
.have guest cooks who are Blind, on the show to make their favorite dishes.
.Look for it on your local PBS TV channels.
.Anyway, I look forward to talking to you again.
.
.David Evans, NFBF
