I have reviewed the newspapers from NFB Newsline and have read several downloaded through Bookshare. I read one paper from Florida and another from PA in the same sitting. I did not have to travel to Florida to get that paper. If I had more time I could read the papers from all of the participating states.

Please do not put the NFB down. I have been a member of the NFB of PA for a little over one year. I attended my first convention in over 20 years this year and was truly inspired. The NFB members that I know and read about are not stubborn; that is a negative term, they are determined! Determined to educate blind and sighted persons about the true meaning of blindness. Determined to train blind persons so that they can obtain gainful employment just like their sighted colleagues. Determined that the blind should have access to books, news, the internet, as well as user-friendly technology. The leaders of the NFB think big. If that is stubborn then let stubbornness reign.

As the inch worm burrows his way to his destination inch by inch the NFB will break down societal barriers one by one to change what it means to be blind.
Hope

.
.The trouble with most members of the federation is a complete always
.stubborn resistance to suggestions for change. Every one on this list knows
.that I have questioned the fairness and management of the NFB News Line news
.paper Service.
