Congratulations!
I concur with your statements of not getting lazy or giving up. It is not easy to often feel that one is always going against the grain so to speak. Sometimes it is easier just to give up. I was reminded at the convention by all of the presenters at the general session as well as the people that I met there that we can't give up. We must keep forging ahead to educate people about blindness. The sighted and the blind alike need to realize that blind people can do anything. 

Keep forging ahead.

.at Comcast Communications.  Today, I went in to sign papers and to

.accept the job.  I start work on August 7.  Another chip at the rate of
.unemployment in the ranks of blind Americans.
. How has the NFB helped me?  There isn't any good way to quantify that.

.best way I can think of doing it is by pointing to the reasons for the

.of the NFB and to our mission and philosophy.  Individuals on NFB lists

.also helped a great deal.  Many of you have offered words of
.encouragement,
.support, and advice.  I've read the words of many who might read this,

.I've not expressed to you individually what those words have done for me

.this job search.  They have kicked me in the pants and they have
.encouraged
.me not to get lazy and give up.
