[nfb-talk] cheating for students in junior/high schools and in college?

Technology has provided us with some new opportunities, however there
is one thing that hasn't changed. Most of the times I was able to
cheat in school came about because the teacher/professor totally
trusted me and/or couldn't believe that a blind person would cheat.
I had to take a course in the "foreign press" in college. We had to
regularly read a foreign publication non-English, in its original
language, and summarize one article per week, in English. I told the
professor the only Braille Spanish publication I could get was
Reader's Digest. She believed me, it never occurred to her that I
would lie. I then went to the Library with a reader, and read "I Am
Joe's Stomach" in English and summarized it.
I have also been given take home tests when no one else was, even in
Grad school
