Good evening everyone,

    Several weeks ago folks on some of these lists asked about the
availability of Dr. Maurer, and Dr. Jernigan's Banquet Speeches in .MP3
Format. Since the First of August when our new national web Site was
launched much of the audio content was disabled, but is slowly being
restored. Likewise other affiliate sites were also effected by this launch.
I'm pleased to report that as of this afternoon you can once again listen to
Dr. Jernigan's Banquet Speeches via the National Federation of the Blind of
Tennessee's World-Wide Web Site. The URL is:

    You will find text versions of all Jernigan Banquet Speeches, and
streaming and downloadable versions of most of them on that Web Site. They
are available as viewable and downloadable text files, and streaming audio,
and .MP3 downloads. Here's hoping that the national office will restore them
along with Dr. Maurer's Banquet Addresses on the national site very soon.
The voice of Dr. Jernigan can be heard on the Net once more!
