[Nfb-science] college

My initial feeling is that there should be no reason why you should fail if
you do computer network systems. Usually if you have the desire to do
something, and those who will be helping you are willing to help you
overcome any difficulties you may have (which it sounds like the dean of the
college is) and believe you can do the work, then you will succeed at it. By
saying this, I am not saying it will necessarily be easy for all of it, but
it certainly helps if you are getting the support to solve any problems
(it's the last thing you want is to have to argue for getting some
adjustment in the middle of a course, and always to have some barrier put in
your way every time you make a suggestion of a solution).

My question is, is the student doing electrical computer engineering just
trying to justify his decission? What are some of his justifications for
computer network systems being inaccessible? If you could find some of these
out, we may be able to think of a solution, or may be someone on this list
may have already met the issue.

As a note, I am doing a physics degree, which has featured some mathematical
modules (partly of my own choosing), so may be I don't know of all the
potential issues with computer networking, but I have met some situations in
my course which have required some careful thought for how to solve them.
