Hi everyone,

I thought I'd write a quick note and itroduce myself since I just subscribed. I'm an archaeologist interested in the stone spear points of the Paleoindian period (10,000 years ago give or take a couple thousand years). My interests also include geology and environmental construction of past climates specificaly as the climatic conditions affected hunter-gatherers. I lead a double life as a full time employee of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a graduate student at the University of New Mexico. I'm what we call abd in slang which is all but dissertation. Hope to chat with you all later.
