Dear NFB River City Chapter Members and Friends:
Our chapter's involvement in transportation issues throughout the region continues! The forwarded e-mail details our next opportunity to be involved in long-range transportation in our region: it's an opportunity to advocate for walkable and thoughtfully accessible communities, better fixed route transit, etc. Mark your calendars and plan to join in virtually!
In advance, a few long-time members who have worked on these issues for years--who plan to join in virtually--and I discussed holding a strategizing teleconference two nights before. It'll take place on Monday the 29th at 9:00 P.M. on California Access News' teleconference line at (916) 732-4000, press 9 from the main menu. If you are going to provide feedback as a Federationist during this virtual town hall meeting, please attend this teleconference in advance.
I hope to see everyone's participation in this important opportunity to shape long-term transportation planning in our region! In the meantime, please feel free to call or e-mail me directly if you have any questions or suggestions.
