[Nfb-river-city] NFB River City Chapter Meeting This Saturday!

Dear NFB River City Chapter Members and Friends:

The weather is cooling, October is here, the NFB state convention is soon
upon us--and our next National Federation of the Blind River City Chapter
meeting is coming up in just under 36 hours: Saturday, October 7 at 10:30
A.M. (at the State Capitol).  This will be an important meeting for planning
and perhaps a little technology demonstration, so you'll want to plan to be
there.

As I personally will be out of town, our first vice-president, Tiffany
Manosh, will chair the meeting.  I know she will have all of your support.
Her agenda is full: with final preparations for participating in our NFB of
California state convention next weekend, collecting feedback for Regional
Transit, and continuing to plan for the northern California white cane walk
in Redding, hosted by our Shasta-Cascade Chapter, on October 28--and, of
course, all of our usual business of treasury updates, presidential
releases, and membership business.

The meeting will adjourn as conscientiously close to 12:30 P.M. as possible,
and I'm sure that, as almost every month, there will be members heading out
to lunch together at a nearby restaurant.  Please come for the meeting and
stick around for good networking and good food!
