Dear NFB River City Chapter Members and Friends:

It's hard to believe that June is drawing to a close--and the National
Federation of the Blind National Convention is upon us next week in Dallas!
I'm looking forward to seeing many, many of ya'll there.

All the best to the few of you remaining in Sacramento next week.  Remember
that we have canceled our July meeting, which would usually take place this
Saturday.  So don't show up at the Capitol!

For all of you who are attending the National Convention and who aren't yet
on the NFB of California listserve, below is an important message from NFBC
President Nancy Burns about our affiliate caucus.  Mark your planners!

Hi Ya'll,

It's time to pack up and head for Dallas!  The California caucus will take
place at 7 pm on Monday, July 3, in the Obelisk room in the Atrium
Mezzanine.  This caucus will provide an opportunity to meet and greet
newcomers along with our three scholarship winners.  Grab yer boots and
mosey on over.  See ya in Dallas.
