[Nfb-river-city] September Chapter Meeting This Saturday!

Dear NFB River City Chapter Members and Friends:

Labor Day weekend is fast approaching--and with it the first Saturday of the
month and our next National Federation of the Blind River City Chapter
meeting!  Plan to join us this Saturday, September 2, at 10:30 A.M. in the
State Capitol, Room 317.  We're bacl to using the L Street entrance, so take
note and plan your transportation/transit accordingly.

Our meeting agenda will be very packed.  We'll hear about our National
Convention, including some thoughts from our newest members.  We'll make
important plans to participate in the second annual Blind and Low Vision
Olympics for blind youth, including volunteering as direct mentors.  And
we'll begin planning for our NFB state convention six weeks from now.  You
won't want to miss it, and you'll want to be on time!

We'll do our very best to adjourn at 12:30 P.M.  Then we'll head out to a
restaurant within a short walk of the Capitol for lunch, informal
conversation, and good fellowship.  Plan now to join us for lunch!
