[Nfb-krafters-korner] Cast on length for knitting was Re: Determining Length of Yarn for Canvas

I have heard this before and used it last night. Does it depend on your
gauge or the weight of the yarn? I had way too much yarn left over and
since I am using a striped yarn, did not want to incorporate that much back
into the stitches.
