Hello:
The device is known as a tracing wheel. APH and Howe Press sell them. I
think they are also used for sewing. My Mother made drawings for me by
putting a big needle in her sewing machine, removing the thread and sewing
along lines with a short stitch. Of course, different stitches would produce
varying patterns.
