There is a man who is legally blind  who makes designer items on  one of those 
electronic computerized knitting machines.  I had spoken to  him prior to this 
and he had advised me to find a teacher.  
 
I had learned about him from someone I knew on the circular sock machine  
list that has been making designer sweaters and stuff for the last 20  years.
