Becky,

Can you tell us more about using a knitting machine?  I have heard of them
and seen really small pictures on the internet but have never had hands on
or known anyone that uses them.

As an aside, I believe it was James Gashel that did an article for the
Braille Monitor where he test "drove" using a guide dog for a week.  He
likened it to a dog is cruise control and a cane is manual. <smile>
