Dear All,

You should still make sure that you have the steps covered as to how to 
become a Division.
You have to have a mission statement and draw up a Division Constitution, to 
be approved first by national and then be voted on at a national convention.
Just make sure so there are no slip ups and someone wanting $700 from you 
for a table .

I went through this with the CARS Division start up.

I received a phone call from the National Center after I wrote to Mrs.Maurer
asking her about the cost of a table, even if we split the profits with our
chapters/and/or the National office. They said that if we become an actual
division, there is no charge for the table, but if we aren't, the tables are
$750. So, Dr. Maurer has to say "ok, I see you are or/ are going to be a
division in good standing, here is a table, and there is no charge."


Maybe we should have a first meeting at National, and go from there, since
this is our first year.  We could put an ad in The Braille Monitor letting
everyone know that although they are blind, they can still knit,etc.
