The abicus bracelet that I spoke about has an elastic that has decorative  
beads around that holds the small and larger beads in place as you move them to  
count.  As I said I wore this bracelet several weeks while working on my  
project and it not only adorn my wrist, but was right there when ever I picked  
up my knitting needles.
