Hi everyone,
I have spoken to several folks in Baltimore regarding the Crafters
Division/group and since some of the key players are out of the country and will be
back on Friday I guess I will have more information next week for those of you
going to Convention in Dallas this year.
I can't say at this time what we will have or not have planned.
What we do have to have is:
1. a way to get the word out at convention about the Crafters
Division/Group. I will send a notice in for the Braille Monitor and get it in the program
when and where we will meet. I am looking into if they will have a section
for divisions and if we could have a table at that. This is where I hope we
can have some of you demo your crafting abilities.
2. the planning committee to have a meeting We need to do this before we
go to convention and once we arrive at convention.
A brief meeting in my room will work for this.
3. a meeting to decide if we want to go forward as a division or a group.
We will have to put together the proper papers if we will be a division. I am
working on some of that now.
The ones that I had spoken to regarding the planning committee, will you
please email me so I can get your email addresses. I will be in contact with
you off list.
I will keep everyone posted.
Di please email me off list I want to speak with you regarding the
information you have gathered.
Looking forward to meeting you at convention.
