In my pottery class, we call it an extractor. My friend has a miniature one
and I bet it didn't cost anymore than $10 at Michaels.

Well!A clay gun is like a presser. It presses the clay out through a disc
that has a shape round or square, trangle. It makes one long coil. I use it
to make hand made pots They cost about 40 dollars. You can look at stuff
on big ceramics store .com It has tips and tricks and supplies. That is
where I learned most about things. They have bigger ones then what I have
that are electric. I have a small one for decorating the out side of things
also. it has help me alot they also have clay rollers that roll out the clay
for you. then you can cut stuff out from that or before rolling out you can
put lace or something like that to make a pattren on it.I don't have one
like those I found a small one at the hobby store. At the hobby store they
have clay that you can bake in the oven or just let dry on it's own and then
paint. You would not be able to eat out of those paints only paints that
are ceramic paints that are food safe. Oh well! I could go on for ever with
these things. I hope I answered your question. Mary C
