I've heard that some of these clays that you can use at home by 
baking/cooking in your oven or microwave are dangerous to your health.  I 
think they have been found to be carcinogenic.  I was thinking of using them 
to make my own beads at one time, but when I heard this decided it was not 
worth a serious health risk.

Now that you said that I read last night that there was a clay that you did
bake in your oven for one hour at 350 degrees I think it was that long.  It
said you should have a thermometer  to check the temp of the oven because 
if
it was hotter it would smoke.
