Dear All,
There is a free chat room service called for the people .com .
The web site is www.for-the-people.com and don't leave out the dashes.
They have a number of voice chat rooms where, after signing up you downe
load a chat client to your PC and then by adding a microphone to your
computer, you can talk to each other by holding down the "control" key.
They have groups on the site and even set aside rooms for groups for special
things including classes.
The chat client even lets you know who else is in the room and lets you send
mesages, in text to other chatters even when others are talking privately.
Try it and enjoy.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Hey folks, a new idea
I know that I am new to this list, but I hear many of you saying how you
would love to learn a particular craft with nobody around to show you. We
are located all over the country. wouldn't it be cool if we could get
together and chat? I participate in a few chat group where we all call in on
a conference line on one designated day of the week and talk. The line we
use, the Confrence Call is a free service and is a long distance number, so
you'll have to have flat rate long distance, but we can get a code that
everyone will have to put in before they can talk. I think it can be a great
way for all of us to get together and chat. What do you all think of that?
Peace,
Laurie
