Comments made like, "that must be hard to do". No it is not hard to do as
most crafters feel it is a labor of love!

Let's face it those blue ribbons, getting to display your finished projects
and just the , Gee whiz that is beautiful and how did you do it is what makes
the people spend their time making their creations.

That is why I like to sit back and listen to everyone's comment. When I
weave a shawl, I really don't know what the color of the yarns are and how they
look, so I get to view my work through others eyes. Then I tend to repeat
them so folks can't believe I can't see it. I will tell them that this shawl
has little black and white beads woven in with the gray wool and that it has a
strand of 100% angora rabbit that is black That feels so soft that makes the
kinda plaid look and I through in a black strand of 100% alpaca to hold
along with the angora to make it as thick as the gray wool with the beads. Then
I fringed it with a 9 inche fringe one strand of the angora and one strand of
the alpaca. Those 2 fibers are so soft.

I just described one of the shawls I made. Those words basically came from
people that made the yarn and and saw my shawl.

Hey,anyone that comes to Dallas I will let you feel this shawl it is awesome
and the bunny fur has hblossomed such a haylow

Without their eyes and their words this would be a nice feeling triangle to
me.

Joyce
