[Nfb-krafters-korner] numbness in hands when working with your crafts

I get a lot of that if I close my eyes when listening to a speaker, comments
like were you asleep. As I said I mostly have my eyes open, but depends on
my concentration. I think I tend to tighten up my shoulders bringing my
hands up more in range of seeing. Since I can't see I know I will from time to
time just remind myself to relax my shoulders and not raise the hands as much
because my hands will get the tingling, falling asleep numbness. Yep, I got
carpal tunnel.
With my carpel tunnel I can not do sewing, knitting or hand work much in the
mornings at all. I can type in the morningOK. If I wait until mid
afternoon I can knit, hand sew or whatever well into the wee hours of the morning
after the sun goes down. Just can't do much of that hand work in the morning.
I need to be up for a good length of time so my hands don't go numb.
