I paid $112 for the Singer Sewing  machine with the one step  buttonhole 
maker and my friend that is sighted wants me to get her one of these  babies, too. 
 It is a non or manual machine as you turn dials for stitches  and levers for 
width adjustments.  I love the fact it has this button that  you push and it 
will back stitch one stitch or a couple if you hold it  longer.  Good for 
tacking the end stitch.  It also has an adjustment  to speed up or slow down  how 
fast you are stitching.  it is great for  when you are doing curves and need a 
slower pace or other things like  that.
