Hello Di! I do not think I can be much help with the pocket placement and
such. I do make quilted totes and purses with pockets, but it is usually
just a judgment call for where to put the pockets. If it feels right, that
is where I put the pockets! Wish I could be more help to you.

Thank you everyone!  I guess I am having trouble more with reading the
directions (even with my magnifier) and seeing the markings (like for
pockets) on the fabric.  I know I need fresh tracing paper.  The
crayon-stuff seems to dry out.  I do have a magnifier on my machine that is
placed over the presser foot and needle, but is still hard to see.
