Have any of you tried out the "square"knitting needles? I received my first
pair and wished I got a larger size to test out first. I like to use
circular knitting needles and I got regular knitting needles. These are hand
carved and I think I will order another pair of circular ones size 10 1/2 before I
decide. I had gotten size 9 that are 14 inches long. I prefer to use wood
needles as they are much better for my hands. There seems to be a little
better drag on the yarn defintely more than the metal or plastic needles. The
yarn tends to slide off them too easily.
The place I got them also makes square wooden crochet hooks that are suppose
to be good, too.
I will keep all of you posted on this area.
