I forgot to say that with the candle waxes there are a lot to pick from.
The container wax that is made especially for that is a one pour wax. It also
melts at a lower temperature 130 degrees. compared to just for example the
jell wax melt point I am trying to remember, but believe it is in the range of
220 degrees. So the harder the wax the hotter it needs to be to reach the
melt point and the heavier glass container.
I had gotten a talking kitchen scale, but one of the little better ones so I
could way my wax out in grams and know precisely how much scented oil to add
to the wax. I had even found a place that I had gotten color small chips to
use to add colors to the wax. Since I am totally blind the liquid drops for
color was a shot in the dark. This I could cut these small chips in half
and even in quarters and one chip colored 16 ounces of wax. I had learned a
lot and received a lot of help from the places online that I purchased my
supplies from. Free long distance telephone service defintely helps.
