I am the chair person of the Omaha chapter in NE. We've done a few things.
One thing that worked great for us is to get something donated. In one
particular case we got tickets to the playhouse for South Pacific. We've
been raffling them off. We draw Monday. We've made, well we won't know the
total amount until we stop selling tickets on Monday!
Something else we did is we got holiday suckers. Like we got shamrocks for
ST Patricks day and carrots and egg suckers for easter and sold them at our
meet and greets at walmart and No frills.
Selling candy at the meet and greet was so sucessful that we had to go into
walmart and buy more candy! Oh yeah!
Another thing we will be doing soon is we have like fair days around here
and one of them is called La Vista days. We will have a table and pass out
info and sell water for a buck a bottle. Most are selling them for two or a
buck fifty. We get 24 bottles at Sams for 7 bucks and sell them for a buck
at a very hot and fun place. Just a few ideas!
