Hello All,
Though it's only for those in Maine, this funding
opportunity gives $5k to help your planning of a
literacy program, and up to $25k for the actual
implementation. Remember, literacy includes braille
education. Reading is reading. Literacy programs are
able to be used to fund a braille training program.
This one, too, is open to braille efforts in a few
ways. Children, adults, seniors, all are part of
families, and teaching any one of them who may be blind
to read is allowing them to further and better interact
with their families.
God Bless Your Efforts!
