Dear Addie,
Welcome to the list. I hope that we can all share some ideas for fund
raising, which is something I like to do.
I am an experienced fund raiser and grant writer.
I have written a number of grants for both my chapter and our state
affiliate.
I believe in raising the most money with the least amount of effort.
I would rather do an event that raises thousands in a night than selling
candy bars one at a time.
Don't get me wrong, I sell candy bars too, but I would much rather raise a
large amount of money in a few hours.
I believe in getting my fund raising out side of my chapter and into the
deeper pockets on the general public.
I have learned how to embellish events to get the max from the efforts.
I am looking forward to sharing ideas, so let me know what you are
interested in and how much you want to raise.
David Evans, NFBF

Hello,
My name is Atty and I have joined the fund raising committee in our local
chapter. I have joined this list to learn from all of you and to share
ideas. I have just rediscovered the NFB after several years. I was in it
many years ago but lost transportation to the meetings and so lost touch. I
moved to a very small town. I have rejoined in March and am excited to learn
all I can from the fund raising pros!! Thanks for having me.
Regards,
Atty
