Tides Foundation Invites Nominations for Public
Interest
Computing Award

Deadline: August 1, 2007

Nominations are now open for the 2007 Antonio Pizzigati
Prize
 for Software in the Public Interest. Administered by
the Tides
 Foundation ( http://www.tidesfoundation.org/ ), this
annual
 $10,000 award will honor a software developer whose
work has
 made an outstanding contribution to the nonprofit
community
 and ongoing efforts for social change.

Each candidate must submit a completed application.
Each candi-
 date must also be nominated by a peer within the
public interest
 computing world or a leader in the nonprofit community
who can
 speak to the personal qualities that contribute to
that individ-
 ual's leadership, as well as to the product the
nominee developed.
