Hi Mike, and all,
Now that's good to know, Mike. We briefly discussed
doing that with our chapter, for last year's Dallas
convention. But one of our members, if I'm remembering
correctly, mentioned how someone else had tried it and
it hadn't gone over too well or some such thing. Guess
he was talking about your efforts, maybe? Sorry to
hear that, Mike. Thanks for sharing it. It seems like
such a logical idea for a 4th of July week-long
conference, you know?
I remember discussing how to make it a keeper, sort of
a keeper of a fan, rather than just a throw-away fan.
Maybe having "2006 Dallas blah blah blah" or something.
We also discussed putting actual braille on the
cardboard part of the fans, or molded into the plastic
handles. Thought about putting that braille alphabet
on the fan, like the Deaf-Blind division has on the
T-shirts, you know? Anyway, thanks. That could save
some a bit of money and frustration, what with it
seeming like a fairly logical item for a summer event.
;-)
Regards,
Everett
