Hello Fundraisers,

I've been offline since last Spring.  Been back on for
a bit now and just getting back into the swing of
things.  Below is something I think we could use as a
win-win for everyone involved.  Could your chapter
become one of the "organizations working to deliver the
President's Volunteer Service Award to deserving
volunteers?"  Does your chapter have anyone who might
be worthy of such an award?  Details are below.

National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week is the time to thank one of
America's most valuable assets - volunteers - and call
the public's attention to all that they do to improve
our communities. This year's National Volunteer Week is
April 15 - 21.

The 2007 theme is "Inspire By Example" because it truly
reflects the power volunteers have to inspire the
people they help, as well as, to inspire others to
serve!

This year the President's Council on Service and Civic
Participation is asking you to recognize your
volunteers' achievement by joining the thousands of
organizations working to deliver the President's
Volunteer Service Award to deserving volunteers during
National Volunteer Week and throughout the year.
