Hello,
The grant opportunity below, I believe, would be open
to a NAGDU affiliate of Texas. It has a category of,
"animal welfare." The Arts are also a possibility, as
well as any programs y'all have down there that could
fit into the "health and human services" category. As
I write this, I realize there are *lots* of
possibilities. Diabetes Action Network, to mention
one.
So, Texans, get to writing! Haikus are fairly easy.
You could win your Texas affiliate or division or
chapter $2000 - $5000. Why not at least try?
And it's just a suggestion, but if anyone else felt up
to it, it doesn't matter where you are located--if you
feel up to writing some haiku. You could then donate
your poem to an NFB member in Central Texas, so they
could enter it. Just a thought.
To Your Successful Haiku!
